High Level kits are widely recognised as the best 4mm scale industrial locomotive models on the market. They are computer-designed to ensure the optimum alignment and fit of parts. The modular construction simplifies building into a series of bolt-together sub-assemblies. The kits are fully P4/EM/00 compatible.
Bodywork is in etched brass and the chassis are from nickel-silver, with high-quality castings in lost-wax brass and premium-grade whitemetal. For super-smooth low-speed operation, all kits include their own custom-designed, double-reduction gearbox which is designed integrally with the rest of the locomotive. The ratio is either 108:1 or 97:1, depending on the kit.
